Excessive exercise, whether done at home or at the gym, can occasionally result in deadly consequences. Every person should plan their exercise regimen after consulting a physiotherapist, according to Dr. Brijesh Tripathi, head of the physiotherapy department at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), because only a professional can advise what kind of exercise one should do and for how long after checking your health conditions and vitals. He said, "For instance, if a person has back discomfort, he or she should refrain from lifting big weights and high-impact workouts that harm your discs or spine since this might strain the backbone and create lifetime injury or increase pain.

"We have observed that in many situations, individuals conduct intensive exercise thinking that they were doing properly but in fact it might bring deadly problems," said Dr. Sudeep Saxena, a physiotherapist. He also suggested avoiding treadmill running if a person has health concerns like respiratory difficulties. Dr. Vaibhav Agarwal of Dehradun explained the function of physical therapy in paralysis, saying, "Some patients progress in a few months while others need longer time. However, therapy may work wonders if someone continues with it while receiving the right support.

"Neck discomfort, knee deformity, backache, and many muscle issues, which are quite frequent among middle-aged individuals owing to sedentary lifestyle, may be treated up to 70% by physiotherapy while 30% by pharmaceuticals since they can play supporting roles," stated Dr. Pravin Rawat, another physiotherapist.
