The stakes associated with MCU projects have never been higher than they are at this point in the franchise. Our favourite characters have been frolicking in the farthest reaches of the multiverse, and it seems like every new movie or television show features a villain with superhuman abilities on a galactic scale. As a result, it is encouraging when a new project appears to reduce the size of the problem slightly.

Jennifer Walters is the subject of the newly released film She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (Tatiana Maslany). In the television show, she unintentionally becomes the Hulk after ingesting blood from her cousin Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), who is depicted as the intelligent, glasses-wearing Smart Hulk. Many of the characters are anything but little because they are battling with Hulks.

Life has been completely turned upside down for Jennifer Walters ever since her reluctant transformation into a powerful green monster. But throughout the course of the second episode of the series, she was able to regain her balance (an incredible feat given the size of her newly expanded feet), land a lucrative new legal post, and demonstrate that she was more than capable of controlling her Hulk alter ego. Her unfortunate encounter with the villain known to fans as Abomination, who served as the main antagonist in 2008's The Incredible Hulk, may have put her new career and emotional stability in jeopardy.

The first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, "A Normal Amount of Rage," ends with Jennifer being forced to reveal her newly discovered superpowers to the public during a courtroom confrontation with Titania, played by Jameela Jamil. The defence side claims that Walters' heroic acts affected the jury, and although though she finally saves the people in the courtroom, the case is declared a mistrial, which prompts Walters' boss to terminate her. In the end, she manages to obtain a new position, but it's with a company that focuses on superhuman defence, and she has to practise law in She-Hulk form.

Her first assignment is the defense of Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth)also known as Abomination, who was incarcerated following the events in The Incredible Hulk. Initially, she is reluctant, given the fact that Blonsky had attempted to kill her cousin Bruce, but her boss tells her that Blonsky signed papers that would negate Walters' conflict of interest. He also tells her that she'll be fired if she doesn't take the case.

Blonsky is revealed to be only a zen, middle-aged man who appears to have left his super-serum-induced alter ego behind when she eventually meets him. Sadly for She-Hulk, it turns out that Emil Blonsky is not nearly as repentant as he had led his lawyer to believe at the conclusion of episode two, "Superhuman Law." Naturally, Jennifer's defence of Blonsky will be much more difficult than she initially anticipated.

Who will play the part of Sorcerer Supreme Wong?

When Walters gets home, her boss calls and tells her to turn on the television. When she does, she learns that Blonsky has escaped from his high-tech prison cell and is now fighting in a clandestine fight club. Fans of the MCU immediately recognised the brief battle ring scene because it had previously been included in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

In the movie, Wong (Benedict Wong) fights Abomination, who is eventually knocked unconscious by his own punch after Wong uses a magic gateway. Blonsky is then teleported back to his prison cell by Wong. Despite the fact that Wong can teleport Abomination in and out of his cell, the Disney+ series did not explain how he managed to escape. The Sorcerer Supreme may have been added to the She-Hulk series and used to support Walters' defence because the character's Shang-Chi appearance seemed to imply that he and Wong were buddies.

The enormous antagonist Abomination will undoubtedly be challenging. If Blonsky chooses to remain in his Abomination form, it is difficult to envision how his huge frame can even fit on a courtroom bench, much less how they will be able to obtain a suit and tie in his size. However, in order for Walters to keep her new position, she will need to come up with a defence for his innocence, which will be challenging given his most recent prison escape.

Observing the character's growth throughout the series will be fascinating. Was Blonsky's ostensibly changed nature just a deception, or is there a chance that, with Walters' strong defence, Abomination will be allowed to join the series' heroes?
